HomeCarers offers a home help / home companion, personal care and alzheimers care service to elderly people in their own homes. We are always looking for compassionate carers in the Dublin and North Wicklow areas that have relevant training and experience.
Home Help / Home Companion:
Our carers carry out light house work, meal preparation, grocery shopping, ironing, medical reminders etc. We look for compassionate carers who enjoy working with the elderly and have experience in this area.
Personal Care:
Our Carers assist with bathing/showering, general hygiene, asssitance with dressing etc. We look for carers that have Fetac Level 5 in home care practical skills.
Alzheimers Care:

Our Carers provide a safe environment, maintain a regular routine, provide stimulation and light meal preperation. We look for carers that have training and experience in dementia care.

You will need to be fluent in English and available for “face to face” interviews in Dublin.
Sucessful applicants
Sucessful applicants will be required to have the following:-
1 form of valid ID – Passport or Drivers Licence
A utility bill as proof of address.
All Non-EEA Nationals will also need a Valid GNIB Card in addition to the above.
A completed HomeCarers application form and an up to date CV with dates and contacts. If you have gaps in your CV you must provide a character reference from a Solicitor, Doctor, Garda, School Principal, TD or Local Politician to whom you are known. This reference must state that you are of “good character”.
At least 2 referees, names and addresses.
You will also be required to provide details on examinations taken, including the subject, the level (ordinary / higher level) and the grades achieved.
If you have resided in any country other than the Republic of Ireland for more than a 6-month period you must also provide an Original Basic Police Disclosure Certificate (dated within the last 6 months & translated to English if applicable) from each country.
Undergo Garda Vetting by completing a form stating all addrsses you have resided at from year of birth to present date.
